The previous week we had a very special day and a very unique experience regarding my education and especially the transferrable skills. I got assigned to do a presentation on a bactertiophage therapy on patients who have chronic otitis and it was resistant to Pseudomonas Aureginosa, which is a very serious and deadly bacteria. Albeit I had done lots of presentations back in my home in Greece, it was my first ever time to deliver a presentation on a very hard topic and especial in English. It was a very stressful talk, demanding to be calm, ready for questions to be asked with some challenges on the way. I have learned during my life to stay as calm as possible I can in various situations. I had stress of course I can’t deny that. At the end of the day, I really managed to deliver the oral presentation with success and pass the assignment with 62% mark, which is a very good grade for me for my overall standards. The feedback I got will help me improve my skills and erase any mistakes I did, so I will success again in further tasks. Remember, always stay calm, be ready for new challenges and fear nothing.
